Maya Kumari Suthar is a research-based spatial designer and artist of Indian origin. Her work explores approaches to knowledge production, tacit ways of knowing, and government policies at the intersection of communal memory and rural land usage in Rajasthan, India. She uses multimedia formats such as personal stories, archives, drawings, textiles, moving images and active dialogues deriving from her research as forms of spatial intervention. Her design intervention blends critical studies, audio-visual data and landscape to add nuance to her de-colonial epistemological position.
